The main function of the mount is to connect the model to flexors. The mount is made up of plexy glass, and was machined to an airfoil shape. This two desing consideration were taken in order to reduce the overall weight of the structure and reduce the drag produce by itself. Another important parameter was to mantain the column as rigid as possible.
