Kwasi Sampson is a senior Mechanical Engineering Major from East
Orange, New Jersey. He graduated as a member of the first graduating class from
The Chad Science Academy in Newark, New Jersey. While attending Florida A&M
University he is pursuing his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering
with a Minor in Mathematics. During his freshman year (1996 & 1997) he assisted
on many lab experiments and helped organize the chemical materials for Dr. Neil
James in the Food Science Lab at Florida A&M University. While working for
Dr. Neil James he acquired important time management, organizational and group
collaboration skills that have helped him throughout his college career. During
his junior and senior year he has worked fulltime at WFSU-TV as a master control
operator where he performs trouble shooting tasks with various satellite and
live television equipment and monitors the live broadcast of the PBS affiliate.
