Ryan C. Taylor is a senior Mechanical Engineering major from Atlanta, GA.
He graduated from St. Pius X Catholic High School in May 1997. After gaining
recognition as a National Achievement Scholar he choose to attend Florida
A & M University on a NASA scholarship. While at Florida A & M University
Ryan interned with NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center during the summers
of 1998 and 1999. He participated in studies conducted at the Systems Analysis
and Integration Lab as well as the Propulsion Lab. During the summer of 2000
he interned with Delphi Automotive Systems' Quality Assurance group in Saginaw,
Michigan. After getting a taste of the automotive industry he decided to pursue
an internship opportunity with the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission's
Region II office in Atlanta, Georgia. While working with the NRC he had the
opportunity research and explore the nuclear power industry. Upon completion
of his degree at Florida A & M University, Ryan plans to return to Atlanta
to work with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Future plans also include
obtaining a Masters in Business Administration.
