Introduction

As mechanical engineering seniors at the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University - Florida State University College of Engineering (FAMU-FSU College Of Engineering) located in Tallahassee (FL), a senior design project was assigned to us in culmination of our three years at the college. This project is sponsored by Multi-Disciplinary Design and Training Clinic (MDTC), which allows seniors from different engineering disciplines to work together to achieve a common goal while promoting teamwork.

We, the INRange & MDTC Medical Dispensing System Team, are proud to present the work done on the Senior Design Project. After eight months of intense work, including a Design Phase (Phase One) and a Prototyping Phase (Phase Two), a viable solution to the following problem was found: construct a working prototype of an in-home integrated blood-analyzing and pharmaceutical (CoumadinÒ)-dispensing system.
