The final concept for the lifting device was decided upon by the group in conjunction with the engineers at Shaw. Pneumatic cylinders will be use to operate a scissor lift. The airflow will be controlled by electric circuit. In order to ensure safety, there must also be an emergency stop and start device. There will also be a sleeve to cover the legs when they are in the lifting position.
