The 2002 Mechanical Engineering Senior Design Final Review and Open House

The final review for the ME senior design projects took place on Thursday April 11, 2002 at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. The design teams made presentations between 9AM and 5PM to a panel of judges composed of COE faculty and industrial representatives (Panel of Judges was composed of: Steven Korn, Air Force Research Laboratory/Eglin AFB, Jim Sturges, Lockheed-Martin, Charles Smith, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, Bill Shields, Professor (retired), FAMU-FSU COE, Brian Fairhurst, Magnet Science & Technology, National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, Chiang Shih, Mechanical Engineering, Pedro Arce, Chemical Engineering,  Tom Harrison, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Yousef Haik, MDTC, FAMU-FSU College of Engineering). After the presentations the students, faculty, and guests enjoyed a social hour/pizza dinner, followed by an open house and project displays.  These pictures document the event, which was not only a lot of fun, but also an opportunity to share with the entire College and our industrial partners the pride felt by the ME Department in the 2002 graduating class.
