The FAMU-FSU College of Engineering welcomes you to our Mini Baja® hompage. During the 2002-2003 academic year, our chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) is to design and build an off-road recreational vehicle from the ground up. This vehicle will be powered by a ten-horsepower engine donated by Briggs & Stratton Corporation. The end product must be able to endure abuse on rough terrain while meeting stringent safety standards and being fun to ride. Our Mini Baja® will undergo the ultimate test April 4-6 at the annual Mini Baja East competition, hosted this year by the University of Central Florida.

We are new to the SAE's Mini Baja® Collegiate Design Series Competition and anticipate a productive year of great experiences.
