Team Benedict is a team of four graduating mechanical engineers working in conjunction with Benedict Engineering Company, Inc. and The Florida State University College of Engineering to design a drive system for a material handling device as their senior design project. This drive system will be implemented into a material handling design that Benedict Engineering Company, Inc. has been developing for the United States Navy. The concept has been patented and a model of the design is currently under construction.
