Design Needs
- design and machine two fixtures to test fatigue life of threaded bolts
- test should simulate failure mode of real components
- design should work within MTS machine

Design Specifications
- preload for connecting rod of 16,000 lbs
- preload for main bearing cap of 45,000 lbs
- run at least 500,000 cycles or until failure
