Project Description

Topic / Title of the project: Test rig development to study labyrinth seal sealing properties for high speed centrifugal compressors.

Objectives: Develop and build a test rig for parameter study of labyrinth seal sealing properties for turbine compressors. The test rig shall be able to show leakage quantitatively to allow parameter study of a Labyrinth seal to assist optimal design.
