This project was commissioned by Dr. Guenter Maresch for the the North Florida Community College GII Observatory, located 23 miles east of Tallahassee.

The purpose of this project along with ongoing work on the observatory facility is to expand the versatility of remote veiwing for the telescope.

The main goal of the project is to diminish environmental intrusions that would affect or hinder the optical apparatus without interfering with the existing structure or function.

The communication interface of the project will allow protection to be adjusted even when unattended, which will yeild open veiwing patterns for the observatory. This will eventually be integrated with an online interface. In the presence of this remote veiwing can be share in Dr. Maresch's virtual classroom and public observatory.
