TEAM 14 WON FIRST PLACE!!!

At the conclusion of Open House, the team was ranked in first with "Best Project" by the AME judge's panel.

Project Overview: Redesigning the Hoof Knife

The goal of our project was to create a second generation hand held grinder specifically designed for use in the hoof trimming industry. The new model is redesigned to revolutionize the way equine owners work with livestock. The superior design has many advancements such as portability, variable speed, increased torque and generates little heat during operation. Along with the performance upgrades, the prototype is ergonomically reformed with the user's comfort and safety in mind.
