About

The purpose of this page is to display public information pertaining to the development, design, and implementation of the electronic Synthetic Active Aperture Radar (SAR) Imager system. This website displays information about each of the eight team members, the department advisors, the general overview of the project, all technical documents and reports generated throughout the duration of the project, and reference materials such as meeting minutes, the code of conduct, and the department syllabus. This website will be updated on a regular basis.

This project is sponsored by Northrop Grumman, an industry leader in global security and cutting edge technology. The electronic SAR Imager project was made possible by the generous financial contributions as well as technology resources given to the FAMU Foundation from Northrop Grumman. The students in this project are from the Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Industrial Engineering departments representing both Florida A & M University and Florida State University.

Northrop Grumman provides innovative solutions, systems, and products in unmanned systems, cyber security, C4ISR, and logistics and the modernization to government and commercial customers worldwide. Their mission is to be on the forefront of technology and innovation, delivering superior capability in tandem with maximized cost efficiencies. This project will hold the same standards of innovation, integrity and ethics, and efficiency to meet the requirements of Northrop Grumman and both University systems.
