My name is Mohammed Nabulsi. I am a senior at the Florida State University and will be graduating with my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in May 2015. Within my four years at Florida State I have been subject to a great deal of experiences related to my career path both inside and outside the classroom. While at Florida State I was lucky enough to partake in three full semester Cooperative experiences where I was hired and worked full time with a company.
As a Manufacturing Engineer with Caterpillar, I gained a wealth of knowledge within the industrial engineering industry. From coordinating and scheduling various machines or meeting with different contractors, to various statistical studies, I was exposed to a multitude of tasks. I was challenged daily with staying in communication with teams of employees in order to achieve goals on time, all while practicing strong safe, environmental industrial practices.
Within my experiences at Mosaic I was exposed to many different aspects of engineering, Such as Reliability and Maintenance engineering. I coordinated and executed numerous projects to ensure minimal downtime, in order to increase our overall equipment effectiveness. I was challenged to complete all of these tasks in a timely professional manner, while maintaining open lines of communication with both the hourly workers and engineering mangers.
My academic career at Florida State, along with the projects and supporting experience both inside and outside of school, have helped me develop my technical problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a strong desire to learn more. I am extremely eager and excited to begin my career. I believe the knowledge and expertise I’ve gained along the way, combined with my leadership and desire to learn will make me a great addition to any company.
