Abstract 

        Barbot is the future of bartending. The device started as a class project created by Brett Scharmett. In August 2020, Brett posted a final video of the project on TikTok. The video went viral with 2 million views. He decided to incorporate the project as a company and received a grant from The Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship for the venture. 

        Barbot is an automatic bartender that creates perfect drinks every time. With Barbot you can create the best tasting margaritas, lemon drops, or any other beverage you can imagine. Whether you are innovating new cocktails, drinking with friends, or relaxing after a long day at work, Barbot is the perfect machine for you.

        The idea for the entrepreneurship Senior Design project was to create a home version of the original Barbot. The original Barbot was over four feet long, two feet tall, two feet wide, and weighed a hefty 80 pounds. Based upon customer feedback, there was an apparent need for a machine that could fit comfortably in a kitchen.

      The new version of Barbot is similar in size to an air fryer. When the machine is not in use you can store it in a spare cabinet. Other features of the machine is the ability to use any beverage you want, and you can operate it from anywhere. The machine contains a rechargeable battery so you can continue the party wherever you go. Whether that’s a tailgate or your next birthday party, Barbot is the bartender you can rely on.

      The future of Barbot is to continue the company after college with plans to expand into a mobile app and the commercial service markets. Barbot is the future of bartending and hope we can serve you your next drink.
