Welcome to the Bob Braswell book website. My newest novel
is entitled "Growing- up to Be An Engineer." This
project is about a the son of sharecropperes in Alabama
during the Great Depression of the 1930s and the WWII federal
government farming initiatives. Dr. Braswell attended country
schools, during winter months only, with no teaching and
experiment laboratories, then becoming one of the nation's
most prominent engineers. He contributed to missiles, space
flight, engineering education, and project management over
six decades. This website will be used to help tell the
trials, tribulatuions and adventures of this this poor farm
boy excelling in the military, university, engineering,
space, missiles, scientific research, teaching and life
over a professional career spanning six decades.
