3.24 Lagrange Strain Tensor

This is one of the most important of the finite strain measures. This Lagrange Strain tensor  needs to be used whenever the strain is not infinitesimal and/or when there is rigid body rotation during the deformation. As defined in the previous section, if is the Green deformation tensor then,
