Course Outline

This is the first time the class is taught from this book. The tentative plan of action is:

• We will quickly go over chapter 2 on partial differential equations (already largely known from EML 5060.)
• We will quickly go over chapter 3 (already largely known from EGN 5456.)
• We will review section 4.1 in some detail followed by selected parts of 4.4 and chapter 6
• We will review section 4.2 followed by parts of chapter 9 and 10.
• More as time allows.
