Course Outline

• We will quickly go over the introduction in chapter 1.
• We will quickly go over chapter 2 on partial differential equations (already largely known from EML 5060.)
• We will study chapter 3
• We will study section 4.1 in some detail followed by 4.2.13 and selected parts of 4.4
• We will study sections 6.3-5.
