Overview - Scope of the Project
The main thrust of this project is to develop the next generation of autonomous ground vehicles for the Army.

The four main areas of research are:
- Perception
- Stereo Vision, Ladar, Sensor Fusion, Road Detection, RF & Acoustic Sensing, Feature Recognition, etc.
- Intelligent Control Architectures
- Knowledge Systems, Path Planning, Feedback Control, etc.
- Human Machine Interface
- Development of Visual (& Haptic?) Interfaces for Effective & Ergonomic Human Operation
- Modeling, Simulation & Experimentation
