The lab is equipped with the basic and advanced testing setups. The goal for establishing the soil mechanic laboratory was to provide civil and environmental engineering students with the state-of-the-art teaching

laboratory. The laboratory serves both the undergraduate and the graduate students. The soil mechanics laboratory accommodates four major groups of teaching/research testing equipment: (1) Testing Equipment

for Measuring Physical Properties, (2) Testing Equipment for Index Properties Measurements, (3) Testing Equipment for Hydraulic Properties Measurements, and (4) Testing Equipment for Mechanical Properties

Measurements.
