Order of Mganitude Analysis

From dimensional analysis one can find out what parameters are involved in a particular problem. This is the first step to understand the physics of the problem. However it is not enough since dimensional analysis doesn't reveal the magnitude of the variables. The next step toward understanding the phenomena of flows and heat transfer is a crude estimate of the value of the variable involved. Following are some examples. The =estimatesd values are all obtained from algebraic equations.
