Course Grades

During the project activities, students will be asked to assist their peers and team mates, using the Rhomborg method. In the Rhomborg method the team mates assigna a grade out of 10 for their team mates. The grade is based on effort, attendance, performance, team work, etc. The evaluation sheets will be collected and maintained by the instructor. The project grade will be adjusted by a weighting factor according to the team members evaluation. The weighing function is designed to take part of the individuals whose evaluation is low and contribute it to the rest of the team mambers.

    5 points for each unexcused absent will be deducted from the final grade. Attendance will be recorded in the first five minutes of each class. If a student comes late, he/she will be considered absent. The instructor may takes more than one attendance record during each class.

    10 points will be deducted from the final grade if the student did not submit a neat journal at the end of the semester. The instructor will keep the journals
