Lecture Style

• The lectures will develop in a systematic and self-contained fashion.

• The lecture will present the main concepts and ideas pertaining to the course topical coverage.

• The book [1] is the main reference book for the course.

• The lectures will also present a variety of examples in full detail.

• The instructor will take advantage of new advances in multi-media technologies in the classroom. You will be presented with computer-based illustrations of various topics whenever appropriate. There are; however, no computer assignments.

• Class attendance is very important.
• Students will be often working in groups in the classroom. STudents are expected to maintain a neat journal for the course.
