In this section you should learn how to connect to the UNIX machines from the PCs in room 212. You can connect to any UNIX machine in the College of Engineering. The UNIX cluster has the following machines (wolf, dingo, ospery, boomrange, ..). To connect to one of the UNIX machines use

. Telnet is a software that enable you to connect between two computers. For the PCs in room 212 search for the telnet icon and double press the icon. A window will appear and ask you to fill some information to where you want to connect. You need to give a computer address such as wolf.eng.fsu.edu or dingo.eng.fsu.edu and so on. Once connected you need to enter your login name and your password.
