	Mr. Larson currently instructs the Mechanical Engineering Tools Class, and is the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Machine Shop Supervisor, and Mechanical Engineering Lab Coordinator. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University in 2000. Prior to joining the Department of Mechanical Engineering in January 2003, he worked as a Project Manager and Staff Engineer at St. Marks Powder, Inc., A General Dynamics Company. Mr. Larson served six and a half years in the U.S. Navy as an Electronic Technician and Nuclear Reactor Operator. He has three years experience instructing nuclear reactor theory, operation and maintenance. Mr. Larson is currently working on his Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, and plans to pursue a PhD in Thermo-Fluids with an emphasis on energy conversion.
