Dr. Hui Li (S'97-M'00-SM'01) received the B.S. and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China in 1992 and 1995, respectively. She received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2000.
From 1999 to 2000, she worked for Power Electronics and Electric Machinery Research Center of Oak Ridge National Laboratory on developing bidirectional dc-dc converters for hybrid electric vehicles. From 2001-2002, she worked for Tyco Electronics on high efficiency high power density rectifier and dc-dc converter. Currently she is a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department, FAMU-FSU college of Engineering. Her research interests include bi-directional dc-dc converters, micro-grid inverter control, cascaded multilevel inverter, advanced digital control technique and renewable energy generation. She has received NSF Career Award in 2007. She is an IEEE Fellow.
