Team Nine "a.k.a." Code Red

Presents the Viscosity Experiment

Welcome to Code Red's web page presenting the Viscosity Experiment.  We all are currently chemical engineering seniors attending the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering. During our junior year, we completed the Fluids Lab that is included in the chemical engineering curriculum.  This web page introduces the Viscosity Experiment to those future chemical engineers who will eventually have to conduct a similar experiment.  Therefore, we hope this page is very helpful and informative, in that respect.

The following presents a short bio of the infamous team known as Code Red.

Newton Campbell

Newton Campbell is pursuing a double major in chemical engineering and chemistry. His expected graduation date is April 27, 2002. After graduation, he is expecting to work at a small dynamic company. His research for the last two years has focused on Laser Assisted Particle Removal (LAPR) from silicon wafers. This picture shows his analysis of a silicon wafer after it was subjected to intense pulses of an Excimer laser.

Tanya Hicks

Tanya Hicks has obtained a lot of opportunities to gain skills pertinent in the chemical engineering field while pursuing a B.S. in ChE at the College of Engineering.  In supplementing the knowledge she has learned in class, this Florida A&M student has interned at Union Carbide (formerly known as Dow), Solutia, and Kimberly-Clark. During each of these internships, she learned how to apply aspects of course work to jobs that actual chemical engineers do.

Yvette Laudat

Yvette Laudat is a senior chemical engineering student attending Florida A&M University.  In the summer of 1997, she interned with Cargill in Memphis, Tennessee.  Currently, she is a computer lab manager at the College of Engineering.  She is also a mathematics tutor at Tallahassee Community College.  At this time, she is participating in an evaporator project sponsored by Engelhard.

Renette Richard

Renette Richard  is a senior chemical engineering student attending Florida A&M University.  Her expected graduation date is April 27th, 2002. Over the course of her matriculation, she has interned in the areas of process engineering, and research and development. Specifically, she has worked in materials and polymer development at Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
