Torque Meter

The Torque Meter is used to determine the load torque on the motor and pump.  Torque is read on the calibrated scale, using the stroboscope while the instrument is rotating.  Torque can be read in both forward and reverse directions to an accuracy of 1/2% of the full scale.  The torque range is 0-25 lb-in.  To read the torque meter freeze the scale with the strobe and then aling the 0 mark on left side (green line) with the numbered scale on the right side.  These measurements can be taken to tenth of  a value (example 4.5).  This is done by determining the whole number value the green line is greater than or equal to.  Then looking at the minor ticks above or below the green line depending on direction of rotation, find the one that is inline with a line on the rightside.  This value is the tenth.  The value currently displayed is 0.5.
