COURSE POLICY:

General and Homework Assignments

Students should try to attend all the scheduled classes. There should be no pet in the class. Assignments must be turned in and are due at the end of the class on the due date. Penalty will apply to late submitted assignments (20% for each day)

Exams and Grading:

Mid-term exam % = 30%, final exam % = 50%, Homework Assignments % = 15 %, Quiz and class attendance % = 5%

Score: A ( score > 90 % ) ; B ( 89% > score > 77 %); C ( 76% > score > 65%); D ( 64 % > score > 50%); F (50% > score)

Make-up Examination

Make-up examination is permitted for a student only when his/she is justified by illness, conflicting with examinations, or for certain emergencies. However, he/she should inform the instructor or the secretary at the civil engineering department before and or at the same date of the scheduled examination.
