The Florida Product Approval system includes applications for entity approval, statewide product approval, and on-line payment of fees. This system also provides a searchable database to search a list of approved entities and products approved for statewide use. Approved entities include accreditation bodies, evaluation entities, certification agencies, quality assurance agencies, testing labs, and validation entities. Products approved for statewide use will include panel walls, exterior doors, roofing products, skylights, windows, shutters, structural components; and some new and innovative products.

If you are registering as an Entity on the Product Approval system, please prepare, in advance of registration, the required documents in pdf format: 1) List of Principles (resumes of all principles, combined into one pdf document), 2) Test Standards (all Test Standards for which you wish to be accredited by the selected Accreditation Body in one pdf document), 3) Accreditation Certificates (scan the Accreditation Certificate in separate documents, so you can attach only the applicable certificate to the appropriate Accreditation Body you select.
Be sure to attach the Accreditation Certificate in the attachment box that is appropriate for review by that specific Accreditation Body.) This system ONLY ALLOWS ONE Adobe Acrobat pdf document to be attached to three (3) sections for each Accreditation Body, therefore, if you have multiple certificates or resumes for a single accreditation body, please combine them into a solitary document and pdf it before attaching. Please have all documents prepared PRIOR to beginning the registration process.
To be notified when this is available, please join our "Mailing List" and choose "Product Approval" from the interest areas section.
