The LCA framework. Before fully conducting LCA, the goal and scope of study need to be defined. Then the first step is conducted to identify and quantify the environmental loads involved at all stages of product life cycle. Secondly, the environmental impacts of these loads are assessed and evaluated. Finally, the opportunities for environmental improvement are assessed.
