Mechanical Engineering Team 18

Luke Baldwin

Structure Designer

Luke Baldwin is a senior in the Mechanical Engineering department pursuing a track in Aerospace Engineering. He is working part time as a Research Assistant at the Florida Center for Advanced Aero Propulsion learning about the experimental techniques of PIV and Shadowgraphy. Additionally, he is a Teaching Assistant for Thermal Fluids Lab. He is also proficient in Matlab and Creo Parametric.

Josh Dennis

Project Manager

Josh, born and raised in Tallahassee, was halfway through a Civil Engineering degree when he realized that his true passion lied in mechanical engineering. After switching to mechanical engineering, he specialized in material science. Josh will graduate in April 2016 with his Bachelors of Science degree. He is currently employed at an engineering firm in town working on industrial plant design and construction management. Upon graduation, Josh is eager to start a full time career.

Kaylen Nollie

Antenna Designer

Kaylen Nollie is a Mechanical Engineering major from Richmond, VA. Throughout her collegiate career she has tutored in Calculus I, Calculus II, and Calculus III for engineering students and also for the Florida A&M University’s basketball team. She has also been a camp advisor for the Engineering Concepts Institute for incoming Florida A&M University engineering students. She is currently a Navy Midshipman training to be an officer in the United States Navy where she has done extensive training during the school year and summers with the Navy and Marine Corp.

Desmond Pressey

Financial Advisor/Website Developer

Desmond Pressey is a senior Mechanical Engineering major from Orlando, FL, enrolled at Florida A&M University. Desmond is currently involved with a number of clubs and organizations including, NSBE, Theta Tau Engineering Fraternity, as well as serving as the president of the Society of Engineering Entrepreneurs. He also works part time for a mentorship program for pre-engineering students named the Engineering Concepts Institute.

Scott Nicewonger

Project Manager

Scott Nicewonger became interested in RF while serving in the US Army where he specialized in installing and troubleshooting critical satellite communication links in austere environments around the world. At Harris CapRock Communications, Scott handled satellite access and acquisitions, and provided satellite system technical support for US government, DOD, and international customers. Jordan Bolduc

Signal Processing Engineer/Secretary

Jordan Bolduc is a senior in electrical engineering at Florida State University, specializing in signal processing and electromagnetic fields. Jordan grew up in a military home, his grandfather was an Aviation Electrican in the Navy. Jordan wishes to work in defense and military contracting after graudation in April 2016.

Kegan Stack

Lead Mechanical Engineer

Kegan Stack is a senior mechanical engineering student looking forward to graduating in April 2016 with a specialty in thermal fluid systems. Kegan is also the president of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Julian Rodriguez

Co-Lead Mechanical Engineer/Treasurer

Julian Rodriguez, a senior in Mechanical Engineering, will be graduating in August 2016 from Florida State University. Julian started off his education at Florida International University studying finance. After attending flight school, his interest in aviation grew and decided to transfer to FSU to pursue Mechanical Engineering to be closer to aerospace and aviation. Away from school, he enjoys working on motorcycles, swimming, playing guitar, and soccer. He plans to work in the aerospace industry after graduation.

Olivier Barbier

Computer Engineer

Olivier Barbier is a senior electrical and computer engineering student. Olivier works a lot with many programming languages and is also involved in the College of Engineering's chapter of FREEDM.
