Design
Our current design utilizes three main components. The outermost layer is the structural lip and it is made from aluminum. This coponent acts as the support for the whole device. The next component is the compressive medium made from a low durometer rubber. The innermost layer is the contact surface made from low friction ultra-high molecular weight polyethelene, UHMW.
