• The tensile strength of these microcomposites have been shown to be significantly in excess of the values predicted by the rule of mixture (ROM) i.e

• Theoretical models, based on Hall-Petch type relation, are also insufficient to accurately predict the strength of these microcomposites when deformed to high strains.
