Flow Valve

     The Flow Valve is used to adjust the flow rate coming through the pump.  When it is in the position shown it is completely open.  Before for starting the pump this valve should be half way closed.  While running experiments the value should never be completely closed.   This picture also shows where the pressure upstream from the pump is measured.   This value is shown on the right pressure gauge labeled (1111) and is measured in  feet of water (FT.H2O).
