Director

Jonathan Clark clarkj at eng.fsu.edu Jonathan Clark joined the department of mechanical engineering and founded the STRIDe lab in 2007. Previous to this he completed a postdoc with Dan Koditschek in the GRASP Lab at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his M.S and Ph.D. in 2000 and 2004 in Mechanical Engineering under the direction of Mark Cutkosky in the design division of the Mechanical Engineering department at Stanford University. He completed his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering at Brigham Young University (BYU).

Graduate Research Assistants

Benjamin Andrews andrews at cs.fsu.edu Benjamin Andrews is a graduate student at Florida State University, pursuing a MS in Mechanical Engineering. He received his BS in Computer Science from FSU in the spring of 2007. His research is in the area of legged robotics.

Jaeyun Jun jaeyun at eng.fsu.edu Jaeyun is a graduate student at Florida State University.  He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in controls and robotics.  He received his BS from xxx in Electrical Engineering.

Christopher Kulinka cmk04d at fsu.edu Christopher Kulinka is a graduate student at Florida State University. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in controls and robotics. He joined the STRIDe Lab as a research assistant in May, 2008.

Undergraduate Research Assistants

Mark Brosche mtb05e at fsu.edu Mark Brosche is an undergraduate student at Florida State University, pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the STRIDe Lab in May 2008.

Jeremy Nagorka jn07f at fsu.edu Jeremy is an undergraduate student at Florida State University, pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the STRIDe Lab in March 2009.

James Dickson jdickson at fsu.edu James is an undergraduate student at Florida State University, pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in Anthropology. He is currently serving as President of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society Florida Eta Chapter, President of Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honor Society Alpha Iota Chapter, and undergraduate student assistant for Phi Beta Kappa Alpha of Florida Chapter. He joined the STRIDe Lab in May 2009.

Jacob Shill jjs05e at fsu.edu Jake is an undergraduate student at Florida State University, pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He joined the STRIDe Lab in May 2009.

Alumni

Ted Pentzer tjp4941 at fsu.edu Ted Pentzer received his BS and MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida State University with an emphasis in controls and robotics. He joined the STRIDe lab as a research assistant in August of 2007 and left in August 2008.
