I was born on Thanksgiving in northeastern China. When I graduated from college in 2003, I came to the United States, where I received an excellent graduate education in instructional design, thanks to the wonderful professors at the Florida State University. I believe education means “learning for life” and it is a way “of effecting life change and achieving a state of self-autonomy” (Michael O'Shea).
In the leisure time, I enjoy reading and baking (and I find that baking is a great substitute for retail therapy!). Another passion for me is music. My favorite singers are Faye Wong, Enya Brennan, and Tamas Wells. I have a superb husband, who is a brilliant doctorate student in Electrical Engineering, a passionate photographer, and a fantastic cook.
