The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate the knowledge and skills I have developed during my study in the Instructional Systems Masters program at Florida State University. It was submitted in March 2006 in partial fulfillment of the requirement for my Masters Degree in Instructional Systems.
The portfolio is consisted of five major sections, which include are artifacts that serve as evidence for the competencies I have developed during my study in the program. There is a brief annotation for each artifact that provides a complete picture of where it came from and what it signifies regarding my capabilities. The annotation describes: (a) the title of the artifact, (b) when and where the artifact was created, and under what conditions it was completed, (c) the content and scope of the artifact and (d) my role in completing the project.
Each artifact is categorized under one of the five competency areas, which I have developed, at least to some degree, while studying in the Instructional Systems Program. The main competency areas are analysis, design and development, management and implementation, evaluation and research, and communication. It should be noted that although certain artifacts may fit under more than one competency, careful consideration was given to determine where the artifact fit best, based on the nature of the artifact and the purpose of this portfolio.
