This web site is intended to give a brief introduction to Finite Difference and an example of how it is useful to solve steady heat transfer. Our task was to prepare a fifty minute PowerPoint lecture and present the class with a general knowledge of Finite Difference.  There is a homework problem to test your knowledge and a solution to check your answer.
