FSU-FAMU COE Design Task


Andres Nodarse Mechanical Engineering Contact Info: aanb12b@my.fsu.edu	Andres Nodarse is a senior Mechanical Engineering student at the FAMU – FSU College of Engineering. Originally from Miami, FL, Andres has strived to achieve excellence at every level of engineering, and plans to acquire his Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. As an undergraduate Andres has experience working as a researcher for the STRIDe Robotics Lab, where he has worked on biologically inspired legged robotic platforms. His goal is to become an expert in both the design and controls of Robotic Platforms. Andres is also the Treasurer of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and has helped raised $5,000 for the organization.
Ezekiel Copeland Industrial Engineering Contact Info: ebc13@my.fsu.edu	Ezekiel is a senior in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. He is currently an Undergraduate Research assistant at the High Performance Material Institute (HPMI), and has interest in Materials Science, Manufacturing, Operations, and Aerospace Engineering. He plans to combine these different fields of study to work in Aerospace Manufacturing or Research and Development within that field. Ezekiel is also the currently Treasurer for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and is very active with the National Society of Black Engineers, where he has previously held two Executive Board positions.
Justin Daniel Mechanical Engineering Contact Info: jbd12b@my.fsu.edu	Justin is a Mechanical Engineering student who will be pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering starting in the Summer of 2017 over Wireless Sensors based on RF techniques for ultra-harsh environments. His research interests include Controls, Intelligent Systems, Robotics, Materials, and Antenna Design. He is currently working in the Smart Ceramic Materials Manufacturing Lab and the Center for Intelligent Systems, Controls, and Robotics (CISCOR). After finishing his Ph.Ds. he hopes to work in industry working on developing Advanced Control systems for Autonomous Robotics and Munitions Control.
Matthew Patton Mechanical Engineering Contact Info: mspb12b@my.fsu.edu	Matthew is a senior at Florida State University and is expected to graduate from the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering in May of 2017. His interest lie in the field of robotics and plans to one day work on designing Autonomous Systems. He volunteers at the robotics lab (CISCOR) and plans on pursuing a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is also the President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers student chapter here on campus where he not only assists in a robotic competition every year but strives to encourage young engineers to pursue their dreams in becoming successful engineers.
Tajaey Young Mechanical Engineering Contact Info: tajaey1.young@famu.edu	Tajaey is a senior at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and attends the joint FAMU-FSU College of Engineering as an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering student, where he expects to graduate May of 2017. He is from Chicago, Illinois and currently serves as the Fundraising Chair in the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, and is an active member of National Society of Black Engineers, and Society of Women in Engineering. Tajaey is also a new initiated member of the Florida State Phi Delta chapter of the Theta Tau Engineering fraternity, where he served as his pledge class president. After graduation he plans on working in industry as a Mechanical or Sales Engineer.
