SET-UP PLATFORM

The set-up platform is made out of aluminum sections of 1.5" x 1" x 1/8". This platform attaches to the rest of the system by a shaft. A torsion spring is used to remove the platform quickly from under the device being tested without getting in the path of the fall. In addition, it has a rubber surface which provides friction, stopping the PDAs from sliding when they are set on sharp edges or corners.
